CLOSING ARGUMENTS DELIVERED IN ARSON TRIAL

Closing arguments were delivered today in a jury trial involving arson at the BL Clothing Store over a year ago, and the insurance company that says they shouldn't have to pay for it.

LEGISLATORS GO TO COURT ON DEFINITION OF LOCAL LAW

Representatives Joseph Palacios and Ray Yumul filed a certified question in the CNMI Supreme Court asking whether a local law is considered a Commonwealth law.

PUBLIC REACTS TO MEMORIAL HONORING CNMI LEADERS

The Saipan Municipal Council is constructing a memorial courtyard in Chalan Kanoa to honor the CNMI's political leaders based on nominations received and approved by the Council.  The project will cost an estimated $300,000, and so far, over 300 CNMI leaders have been accepted, including some convicted felons.  KSPN hit the streets to find out what people think.
